I'm doing a guest blogger post today for my friend Claire - from Australia! It's funny (in a wonderful sort of way) that you can develop a sweet friendship with someone who lives, literally, on the other side of the world - and yet never have met them in real life.........
That's how it's been for Claire and me - somehow we stumbled upon each other (somewhere in the blogosphere), it seemed like we just "clicked" and we've had fun getting to know each other ever since! ............ And speaking of "clicking" - click here to travel to the land "down under" where you'll find the recipe for this fabulous bread. Be sure to say hello to Claire and get to know my sweet friend by checking our her delightful blog - Claire K Creations ...........

As a Jewish girl I grew up eating challah every week...and yours looks absolutely gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteA very beautiful bread!
ReplyDeleteOh, this bread just looks so yummy, I can almost smell it through the screen. There is nothing that smells better than homemade bread, don't you think? I love the quote of inspiration the goes along with this, it would be cool to do a different one with each post! And I love what you have to say about God's book. How about reading it while eating this warm bread? Too good!!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for guest posting Chris. I cannot wait to make this bread at home. YUM YUM YUM!
ReplyDeleteThis bread looks yummy Chris. Wonderfully written post as well.
ReplyDeleteThe bread looks so good! Just saw a french toast recipe using Challah Bread, now I really want to make it.
ReplyDeleteChris, what a gift you have for relating to people who love food! That you extend your gift to glorify the Lord is something that honors Him in such a wonderful way. Always love your posts and trying the recipes.
ReplyDeleteLove it!
ReplyDeleteHi, I found your blog through your guest spot on Claire's blog. I love your quote! That is a terrific bread recipe. I have always found making bread to be such a chore. But this! This is something I could manage. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteI love Challah but have never made it myself! This look gorgeous. Yes, the scriptures are the bread of life and very nourishing to the soul!
ReplyDeleteYay for Challah bread!! When I was going through law school in Montreal I was 'adopted' by a jewish family who were incredibly kind and fed me well ;) challah was frequently on the menu and I have very fond memories of this delicious, egg bread. Your version is gorgeous Chris - like everything you do! One talented soul you are.
ReplyDeleteThat is an absolutely gorgeous looking loaf of bread! Heading over to read your guest post :)
